It's finally soup weather!

A lot of goth-leaning folks have lived at MALT over the years, so Halloween is often a big deal around here. In fact, we're so busy preparing for it that we don't have much of any update this month - other than some newly announced events!

Upcoming events

Our project to fill out our social calendar is working well, and it's been great seeing a lot of new subscribers pop up on our Partiful! We're especially excited to see some of you at the double Halloween parties next weekend:

The Harvest Feast is kind of a "Friendsgiving" that we do most years on the weekend after Thanksgiving, so that folks have time to come back after traveling. It's not a potluck this year, but you can expect a lot of homemade food, including gluten free and vegetarian options. This year we're hosting the feast back to back with a screening of body horror classic Videodrome. Long live the new flesh!

We're also continue to look for options to advertise smaller or recurring events of our own, or to loan out our space so you can host the event you're dreaming of. Let us know if you have thoughts about how to best utilize all of our new space.

Open rooms

We currently have two possible sublets available, though details are still a bit TBD. As always, the best place to get more info is the housing page.

No news is good news

Would you believe that's actually it for this update? It's a refreshing change to have most of our construction and move-ins done. We're hoping we can maintain a less frantic level of energy until springtime, when our focus will shift to revamping our garden and outdoor spaces. (We get asked a lot whether there's a way to work with our plants, so expect some invites to that!)
