COVID Guidelines
We want to establish and maintain a culture of guarding each other’s health and openly communicating about risks and known exposures.
For co-op guests
- Guests should have their vaccine, booster, and new omicron booster if at all possible.
- If a guest has a known exposure, we ask that they reach out to one of us prior to coming to the event, and use their best judgment.
- If a guest experiences major symptoms within two days of coming to an event, or tests positive within the next week, we ask that they reach out about that as well so we can notify other guests.
- Because tests are no longer free, indoor gatherings with more than 10~15 guests from outside the co-op will be masked.
For co-op members
- If co-op members test positive for COVID, they will isolate in room for 5+ days starting from symptom onset or positive test. If they test negative, they can leave isolation, though will still mask in common areas for an additional 5 days.
- If a co-op member is exposed to someone outside the house with a positive COVID test, they do not have to quarantine, but will take a PCR test (or if unable, a rapid test) 5 days after exposure.
- Roommates living on the same floor as someone who tested positive are considered close contacts. They should mask in common areas and not visit the other house until at least 5 days after their exposure to their positive housemate.
