Buildings
"House #1" is on a raised lot, and both lot entrances require going up 4 to 8 steps of stairs. Most bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors (~31 steps). Laundry is in the basement and the main kitchen is on the 2nd floor.
"House #2" is closer to the street level and has a walk-up driveway, plus 4 steps to the 1st floor. Bedrooms are either on the 1st or 2nd floor. Laundry is in the basement and the main kitchen is on the 2nd floor.
Our main outdoor space (at "House #2") is at the end of a driveway. The garage and movie theater are wheelchair accessible, but do not currently have an accessible bathroom.
Several interior staircases are not up to modern standards and may be challenging for mobility. Additionally, some of the older doorways (particularly in "House #1") are as narrow as 21 inches by ADA measurement.
Other notes
Some of our events are a "sober-flex" space. This means that social consumption is acceptable, but that you should not offer substances (including smoking or drinking) to others. Instead, they can ask you if they want to be included.
Current community agreements exclude smoking in common areas (please take it to the curb). Please inquire in your application if you have questions about allergens such as pets, smoking, detergents, perfumes, etc.
